Filming Nearly Finished: Behind the Scenes of Our Project

This week I wrapped up shooting 98% of the next installment of the CoreVibe series and returned to the office!

The new content is coming along very nicely and I’m sure every outdoor enthusiast will love the focus of the series. I can’t wait to share more details with you and am currently working on a blog post to give you a full update on the progress. I’m hoping to publish this blog post on one of my favorite blogs, so please do support!

Filming is coming to an end and I plan to spend more time blogging, answering subscriber emails and updating the website. It’s time to reconnect with the CoreVibe community! After all, it was your support that inspired me to start this project in the first place.

This morning, I received a loving email that made me so happy. Messages like this are a constant reminder that the content I create is making an impact, and it inspires me to put even more effort into CoreVibe. Thank you for all your encouragement and compliments!

Here’s an update on our development:

  • CoreVibe’s introductory video on YouTube is approaching 50,000 views!
  • We have gained over 1,200 subscribers on YouTube!
  • Our Facebook page has about 850 fans, and our Twitter followers have steadily grown to over 200 followers so far!

In many ways, I’m just getting started!

Thanks to all of you for your amazing support, and I’m excited to continue sharing my passion with you, the

Hi Dave.

I recently watched your introductory video on YouTube and was interested in your gear manual and other tips you shared. I’m halfway through the video and so far I’m impressed with the clarity of your explanation of lightweight gear.

I’ve backpacked once before, and on that occasion I learned a hard lesson: I was exhausted when I climbed up to Little Yosemite Valley at 3,000 feet above sea level due to heavy luggage. I won’t make that same mistake again!

What I appreciate most is that you guys always provide the pros and cons of each type of gear and will also give the best recommendations, especially for those on a budget or looking for the most versatile gear.

I’m planning on hiking in Zion this November, so I’m really looking forward to seeing what you guys recommend for rain gear. You may find it useful to have a list of essential camping gear for your upcoming adventures, with lots of practical advice on packing effectively.

So far I’ve borrowed gear from friends, but now I want to invest in a kit of my own. I’d like to have an inexpensive starter kit. I plan to do four to six three-day trips in the next few years, but no long-distance treks or thru-hikes at this time.

Thank you for sharing your expertise and putting so much effort into creating such useful content!

Best wishes.
Hiker.
